About us

What we do

Politikos is a non-partisan initiative of young people who take an active interest in politics and society. We aim at restoring direct, unbiased channels of communication between policy makers and civil society, with a focus on young citizens.
We aim at reconnecting the public with its political representatives by offering citizens a platform to express their opinions, make proposals and endorse ideas.
We also aim at offering politicians a direct and neutral channel to consult their voters on policy proposals, canvas opinions and and engage in discussions.
We want to establish a platform which offers non-partisan, politically independent participation for everyone.

Make Your Voice Heard

Through regular exchanges with young people, we want to pick up on the mood of the younger generation and pass on their demands and wishes to political decision-makers in a joint dialogue.

Workshops

Our workshops are designed to look at political and social issues. We focus on European politics and the relations as well as historical connections between European states and third countries that are not members of the EU. We share a variety of contents with students and pedagogues. The aim of the workshops is to enhance the general knowledge of young people.

Roundtables

Our round table serves as a communication platform for young people and selected experts. Questions should be clarified and knowledge gaps closed. We give everyone the opportunity to talk to an expert about a specific topic, to ask questions or to discuss. The experts are selected by our team. We make sure that they cover a wide range of topics.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world

Nelson Mandela

Politikos aims to motivate young people to actively engage with political and socially relevant issues. We believe starting with the youth and the education of young people we can create an open-minded and tolerant society that does not differentiate between origin and religion. We create a platform for communication which allows to discuss and exchange information. Also, by offering workshops we aim to strengthen democratic structures, increase the interest in politics and culture and communicate complex topics in a simple and understandable way.
